Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Health Insurance! We only have one provider option for medical, and the employee pays for part of the premium. However, you can not book appointments for anything except seeing your GP. I have never had this bad coverage before. I would say, junk insurance.
Adding health insurance to that list. It's offered almost everywhere, but the quality can vary dramatically. I learned that the hard way when I first started working and it was 100% my fault. My premiums were ridiculous and turned what looked like a good salary on paper to an inadequate one.
You need to look at the full benefits offer:
- Base
- Title
- PTO or flexibility
- Bonus ( are there multipliers on the target - some companies target 100%, sometimes 70% can be the standard based off your roles percentage)
- Shares (this can be a huge part of your package)
-401k match and vesting timeline (does it vest over time at a growing percentage or 1 time vest, when does the match start)
- Health insurance (I would ask for details and then see if my providers accept their insurance if high deductible - do they offer an HSA and do they fund it at all)
- if you are a parent or planning to be a parent look at DCFSA, back up child care options, fertility/surrogacy funding
- mental health support - many therapists don't take insurance but might take something like lyra
There are companies whose base is not great but the other factors depending on where you are in your life can make a huge difference
