After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Listening skill is so underrated because it seems that everyone thinks the way to get ahead is to be vocal and be heard.
Agree
Yes, storytelling with data changes everything. I’d also say being able to communicate across teams is also underrated. The best finance folks can take complex numbers and make them click for marketing, ops, or anyone else. It’s less about spreadsheets, more about connection.
Very true
I think the most underrated skill is finance is the ability to write clearly. It's difficult these days to see what people are reading, as it's usually on a device, but I always was curious to see what books people carried on their commutes. If they were reading good literature that gave me some insight into them, and I suspected they were likely to be good communicators. I feel too many people today passively listen to podcasts and when they need to express themselves their lack of communication skills are badly exposed.
Isn’t this what AI is for?
Being proactive having answers to any possible question that you’ll be asked. Have data to support your answers. Takes more time up front but will make you look like a stud.
Good one
Communication skills are definitely underrated. I work with so many people who simply do not know how to communicate with their teammates. I really don't understand why it is so difficult.
