Currently looking for a remote job in the banking industry. I have 17 YOE - 10 in retail community banking in Deposit Ops, Lending Ops & accounting. The other 7 was at a Banker’s Bank in Correspondent Lending Ops then for the Exec Team and BOD as an EA with special projects for Execs. I have several areas of interest and have applied so far at PNC, KeyBank, Regions and FRB Boston. I also just finished my BA in Bus Admin and have Assoc. in Accounting. What is your typical total time “working” vs. time billed? I think I must be doing something wrong, because I’m having 12 hour days but only billing 7-8 hours/day. I can’t block bill so I lose a lot of time switching between tasks and reading random emails and don’t want to put down a million .1s for reading emails, but still seems weird to be losing so much time. I’ll take quick breaks throughout the day but nothing I’d expect to total more than hour. At a loss here.
