I really love Nobie’s, and il Bracco for date night vibes. Loch Bar is fun if you’re into oysters. Street Food Thai Market is a Thai grocery store with a great little restaurant inside. Lucy for Ethiopian.
BCN for upscale dining and Gin drinks Costa Bravo comes in a close 2nd. Enotica Rosa for quality and price, Oporto, Kasra for best Iranian in town, Darband for best Kabab, Kata Robata for sushi, London Sizzler for Indian has been around forever and Fungs Kitchen for truly authentic Chinese but really there are so many great spots. Helen’s in rice village has always been a solid choice too.

Try Handies Douzo for sushi handrolls, they’re amazing!
Oporto. Portuguese Spanish food. Midtown area
Croquettes de bacalao, scallops farrotto, batatas bravas, pahea. Lots of good food can’t go wrong.
Al Quick Stop (both locations) for the best gyros in town. Gus’s for fried chicken. B&B Butchers for steak. Teotihuacan for Mexican. Estillo Tierra Caliente and Laredo Tacqueria for quesadillas and tacos. Tiny Champions for pizza. Squable or Nobies for solid new American. Giacomos for solid and inexpensive Italian. Cali Sandwich and Pho Saigon for Vietnamese. Hu’s cooking and MaLa (sharpstown location) for Szechuan.
Tried to go two nights ago and they told us they weren’t taking any more orders bc they were busy so I haven’t tried them yet lol

BCN / MAD - Spanish
BCN’s ambiance makes you feel like you’re in Spain. Excellent gin selection. MAD is where people go to see and be seen. Same chef runs both.
