Too much noise out there - can someone confirm or deny whether the US Government funded gain of function research related to Covid?

I’m scared I’ll end up being alone. I’ve truly enjoyed being single all this time but as time passes by, I keep thinking to myself that something must be wrong with me that I’m not in a relationship. I also don’t feel confident being on dating apps since I gained weight during the pandemic (about 30 lbs). I’m holding off on dating until I get into better shape but I’ll be 27 by then and I feel like I’ll be too old to put myself out there.

For those with spouses or family members who feel differently about COVID, what do you do? My husband and I have been on the same page up until now with the Delta variant.

Hey there! I am currently taking Adderall and thinking about switching to Vyvanse. Those of you that have taken Vyvanse, did it affect your sleep or caused weight loss?

Currently not ADD but I do have severe narcolepsy with cataplexy. Everyday I wake up feeling like I haven’t slept 3 days. Cataplexy is sudden loss of muscle tone. Currently on Adderall for it and have been for 5 years. Without it and my ven. I collapse 10-20 times a day. My doctor has left the practice and replacement asshole with a Ph.d says I need a new sleep study and won’t prescribe my prescription until I have it done. I am Covid pos and now can’t get in to get a sleep study. Am I fucked?

Thinking along the lines of:
- Platforms you'd keep away from
- Gigs that people have missed the boat on by now or instead that have just taken off only now
- Specific hustles that aren't worth the upfront cost/hassle in setting up or that are super hard to hire for
- Policies/attitudes you'd adopt going into things this time around

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

Any millennials here worried about their parents retirement? My parents are set financially but I’m worried about their lack of hobbies and social life.
