I’ve never seen another letter without a start date
Mine had a “start no later than” date
Yes, start date, hours expectations, in office/WFH expectations, bonus eligibility, origination credit/bonus info, benefits info (high level re the package). I can look back at a few to see what I’m missing
Anything that is your selling point for accepting the offer. If the biggest reason is the flexibility of hybrid, get that in writing, and how many days in/out of the office.
In addition to what others have said, any PTO that's offered, or if hours are prorated for the year you start for bonus eligibility.
Whether you’re eligible for advancement at the end of the first fiscal year that you join. This has been an issue at my firm - do you move up automatically if you start in month 3 of the firm’s year? 5? 10? HR at my firm says offer letter governs.
