Please and thank you!

Leaving a job virtually is kind of anticlimactic.

I wouldn’t overthink it. I also probably wouldn’t delay too long. They may have interviewed someone else and already made up their mind if you wait too long.
I usually pick the soonest slot that still gives me enough time to prepare properly. I don’t like delaying too long because hiring teams may already be comparing candidates in real time, but I also won’t choose a slot that leaves me rushed or unprepared. For me, the sweet spot is 24–48 hours: enough time to review the role, prepare examples, and show strong interest without losing momentum.

I pick the soonest tbat works best for me. That could mean less stress from a deadline, adequate time to prep. I slot when I know I can arrange to be free of distractions. All those slots will not be equal. If I am trying to buy time for another job offer. That will factor in, too.
If I need a need to push to next week, I will comment that I am really interested in moving forward, but the soonest slot they provided without a conflict is X. But that seems far out. Do you think scheduling then will impact my chances? Do I need to try and rearrange things to meet earlier?
This expresses your interest and gives you a feel for where they are in the process.
I almost always think sooner is better.
Best slots should be your full availability
