McKinsey & Company I had a second round of interview with McK 1 week back but no one got back to me yet.
I only received a link to login to McK website where the status my job application shows “In Progress”.
I am not sure whether it takes so much time for McK to respond after the second round. Is anybody aware of this?

If you’re white like me it’s so important to realize that we were raised in a society where institutionalized racism is normalized, and we were born with privilege. You can’t choose the color of your skin, but you can choose to put ego aside and reflect on why this isn’t happening to me, and be vocal about being anti-racist.

I never turn down interviews. In the least it’s practice for the next gig you really want.
ABC. Always Be Interviewing.
ABC. Always be counteroffers.
You’re a free agent. Most agencies offer at will employment meaning they could lose an account in a week and cut you loose or decide it’s just not working in two months and wave bye. The worst that happens is you say I’m really sorry but this other great opportunity just came up and I’ve got to pursue it. You owe them nothing.
Perfectly said. They could be cutting down for budget reasons and you would be the last one in and first one out. Do what's best for you!
Interview and if you get an offer, do what YOU feel is right.
If you’re full time then you need to either stay a year or leave within a month. You took this new role for a reason - what made you excited about it and why are you now not excited a week in?
Yeah, still a lot of places that bait and switch, like the one I’m in now.
Time to focus on what’s best for you look into it. Why not?
I agree with the above comment, always be interviewing. Even if you love you job it never hurts to see what else is out there. Always take the interview.
Stay loyal. If you were still in negotiation you could extend slightly but the idea of starting and resigning a few weeks later is a bad look (caveat being it isn’t a life changing role which if it is another agency I am guessing no)
Pro
I wouldn’t interview somewhere after accepting an offer. if i had only received an offer, maybe, but not after accepting
That's a matter of integrity for me. You reap what you sow, so leaving your job might not matter now but down the road, it might come back and haunt you@
Honestly I took a job and left after three months because it was awful. That’s a good reason to leave, if it wasn’t bad though I would have stuck it out
I usually never turn down interviews. In my opinion, it’s always worth finding out if there’s another opportunity that’s better.
Reach out the recruiter you just interviewed at and let them know you’ve accepted an offer, but you’re open to other offers. It could force their hand to make a competitive offer. You never know, what do you have to lose?
