Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

It’s like saying “we’re really excited to present this work to you today.” Nobody is actually excited. It’s just what we say at the beginning of client presentations...And we haven’t found a better word to replace it.
They’re lying, dawg.
If it’s a recruiter I tend to take it with a grain of salt. But if it’s a specific title in my discipline and have a bunch of mutual connects it’s less of a stretch
You don't need to go deep on this. It's a boilerplate phrase. They're not going to reveal their sources anyway. Just accept that the agency wants to speak with you.
It’s not always a lie, but they might not tell you who it is. Try: “Do you mind if I ask who gave you my name? I’d like to thank this colleague for the recommendation.”
Also, superlatives don’t mean anything to Americans. Amazing, wonderful, perfect, great = okay. Or maybe I’m just bitter.
