Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

Take it and run
Depends on what your career goals are.
I can tell you my perspective as someone who left as a second year senior just beginning his 3rd full year as a senior. I wish I had left a year earlier than I did. Over time my goals have changed though , at the time I was targeting a VP/CFO as my long term career goal. After a few years as a manager, I wouldn't want to go above a senior director role. Too many hours and stress.
That's fricking amazing. Lucky you, take it!

Did you do first busy season as senior already?
Yes, I have
Can you talk a bit more about what the career progression looks like once you joined that firm? Can’t give you advice without knowing that bc it really on a case by case basis. Some companies are a great exit some aren’t
Great advice by EY1. If you haven’t already asked them about what the promotion timeline looks like there, definitely do it before accepting. But it also depends what your LT goals are. If you’re comfortable being a senior accountant for at least 3-5 more years and are looking for a serious change, could be great. If you want to fast track to management at Amazon, you’d more than likely be better off sticking it out in PA until you’re a manager. It varies greatly by company but the larger corps typically have a longer road to the top and PA can cut through several years to get you where you want to be.
I would consider what the role is - if it’s something you wanna do and advance, I say go for it!
What form are you currently with? I live in Seattle and I noticed you mentioned PNW. I’ve heard lots of PA firms are not doing so hot here. I’d take this new opportunity and make a run for it; if you need to boomerang back to PA to help you climb the ladder down the road, having Amazon under your belt will guarantee a return above Senior. Best of luck!
