Dallas is a better deal from a COL perspective than Austin but it’s meaningfully worse quality of life. Speaking as someone who lived in Dallas ~10 months then bounced
Atlanta. Lots to do, good cost of living, the airport, young and diverse population, beautiful suburbs.
It would be Austin or Dallas for me!
Tx, cost of living much lower than the rest. I would actually say Houston, but Dallas a good backup. Austin is pricy.
