Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

I would think the interviewer is telling you the way you speak sounds like you’ve received formal education. I don’t think it was an attempt at a dig or anything.
A lot of the times things can be boiled down to cultural differences, I’m just as amazed finding out that people don’t change how they speak depending on who they’re speaking to.
Given the context I don't think this was a backhanded comment at all. In my experience, when someone says "obviously you're educated", I take that to mean that they believe I know my stuff. I don't think it's a race thing.
Take offense. Anyone who says it’s not offensive is likely unaware of how education and articulation have historically and continue to be used as weapons to marginalize groups of people. To state that I am educated is 100% unnecessary- you can deduce that from my resume, sir. So why would that even be necessary in an interview? Think about if it were reversed: do you think a Black woman would find it necessary to affirm a White man regarding his education? 😂😭💀 LMFAO. NO.

Need more context. What was discussed immediately before that comment
Does the candidate have an MBA or other advanced degree? Is the role a high level one that assumes a certain level of competence and education? It can be level setting and a way of telling the candidate that the interviewer sees and acknowledges a baseline of skill. It saves time in interviews to not discuss basic assumptions. This is probably the interviewers third interview of the day. They are tired and over it. Not everything is a microagression.
