Nah. 3 story home. She has an office in each floor and 2 on the top. One in a large bonus room on top of the garage and 1 in a other bedroom; 1 regular office on the mid level and 1 in the basement. She is a nomad and roams from office to office. I provision them all in case the nomadic mess reaches my place of calm(I have 1 desk)

steelcase.

like

Yes don’t
Steel case propagated the open office wave just to sell more office gear
In the new wave they designed “cool” chairs that had the same philosophy as McKinsey toilets - you can’t be comfortable on one too long. Extra credit because they designed chairs that didn’t last too long (have you seen pile of broken chairs in the office? Never happened in the Herman Miller era)

Considering the autonomous ergochair 2. Good choice?

I prefer autonomous chairs that can also autonomously process email - I’m ok if it can handle only 80% of my email backlog on a regular basis and respond within 5 minute of receipt

Autonomous!

This is the best review and discount code (R-FLAT30) I have come across. We bought several autonomous products and overall satisfied with our purchase. Thanks

Hey beautiful people,
I’m 27Y and work in tech. Unfortunately my carpal tunnel is getting worst slowly. I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? What do you recommend?

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Suggestions?

Someone I’m working with used to be afraid to speak up when he saw something wasn’t right. He thought he couldn’t affect change and should just do what he was told.
