Or your a older person and yet they aren’t supposed to discriminate. They sure the he&& do. !!!!
Unfortunately yes this is true but if proven this company doesn’t hire people over a certain age, they can be reported because at this age discrimination. I unfortunately have experienced this myself being in my 60s.

I agree with that. I have to say, sometimes it’s a security measure. Some candidates have off behavior, and out of caution, you say you’ll be in touch not to cause a scene or incident.
Because they'll have a lot of applications to go through, they might think you're a good fit and then find someone with more experience. Or they will think you're like, okay, then find you're actually the best candidate after interviewing everyone else and end up hiring you with the idea of training you more.
Many factors come into play when interviewing someone. How you act or how you dress during an interview is one factor an interviewer looks at. If you dress less professionally ( no matter the job your applying for) or seem unable to focus or seem like your searching for right answers to give will automatically turn off the interviewer. Yes they may keep taking to you but they already made a choice to say no but don’t feel comfortable telling you in person.
If you had to many jobs in a short time frame sends another red flag. Why so many jobs? It makes it look like you can’t stay committed to a job.
Also it could be at that point they have not held enough interviews to find who they deem the perfect fit for them. It does not mean they may not call you down the line if this “ perfect fit” person doesn’t work out.
Also most companies have a “script” they want you to follow while interviewing people & it includes going over dress policy & such. Yes it could be misleading to a person being interviewed but it also gives you an idea of how they expect you to dress daily so you don’t show up to work in an unapproved uniform manner with the excuse you were never told. Hope this helps you a little. Good luck.
Had the manager who interviewed me say to my face that she’d get her boss to reach out to me that day… I waited 4 days for an automated rejection email
I completely agree with you. A face to face interview is more than enough for the employer to see whether or not you will be a good fit but no, they choose to torture us by having us wait and hope. I think a pulling rank thing.
Wat job is this
I just went through this with Cencora
