Sounds corny, but helping people. When the work piles up or gets tough, it’s a lot easier to stay motivated when you know that what you’re doing can make a big difference and positive impact in someone’s life.

Strictly for the money. It can definitely be rewarding to help out injured clients, but I started out in the DAs office and miss it. I feel like I helped out more people in a week being a prosecutor than I do in a year as a PI attorney. Not to mention, civil litigation is extremely boring compared to criminal law.
A1 I hear ya! Was a prosecutor for a dozen years and have been trying to find my way in civil and it always feel like something is missing in my life...
The ability to have an open tab at my favorite strip club.
Perfect balance of helping people with the potential of making boat loads of money. Also, it’s much more business oriented than a lot of other areas of practice, which I love.
