Why is it better ( don’t take it as a dumb question, I know for a fact that applying with a reference gives a slight advantage) to apply with a referral to consulting firms- like what makes it better? Also another question is it okay to be referred from someone but from a different location- like the referrer is based in a country and I’m based in a completely different region.
