Why is this industry like this with job posts. This is how so many people get boxed out when there’s so much bias, unequal opportunities. Potential lost.

I work in higher education, for a private university in the Midwest, and will be asking for a promotion to Director of Social Media. I would like to gauge what salary or % increase I should be asking for.

I'm coming up on 1 year since I was promoted to Assistant Director. (I was promoted bc the previous director left, but the truth is I'm not assisting anyone, and I've been running our university's social media for the last 3 years, with stellar analytics EVERY year since taking over.) TIA!

Looking for a suggestion for a date spot that would be convenient and a good halfway meeting point: i’m in Murray Hill and my date is coming from Astoria. I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

Previously my HRA amount was 96000 per annum so I was submitting a rental agreement of full hra without giving pan card details of myself and first party.

Now I have recently joined a new company and here hra is 2.7LPA.

How can I claim the full hra amount? I live in a rented house where agreement is between owner and my dad. Also owner will not accept for a fake agreement too.

Any other alternative do I have to claim HRA? Your inputs are welcome here
