Second to best most effective boarding method
P1, there’s only one true D1! 😁
It’s a lot more efficient and some people believe safer for covid too
I’ve wanted airlines to do this for years. Realistically, nobody should WANT to board the plane early. It’s not comfortable. But the First Class perks make those near the front want to board ASAP for the beverage service.
Solution: boarding back to front, with some First Class lounge/sections near the gate where First Class customers can get a couple drinks before boarding.
If I was running the airport or the airlines, funding for those lounges would definitely not come out of my balance sheet. But otherwise I would support the idea.
Are you on the right bowl sir? If you’re a real consultant, you tell us what could possibly driving this…

The only real advantage of boarding early (barring those with disabilities/kids) is to get overhead luggage space. Otherwise, you have a confirmed seat and the plane hasn't yet taken off without you. So, enjoy the royal walk!

It's annoying because I'm last to board behind comfort plus and have no over head space by then. Smh F this
I am so disconnected from this travel scene that when I read your post, initially I thought its about the delta variant :)
Mythbusters
I’m all for it, as long as I have a reserved overhead space for my carryon.
This, too. The lack of overhead space is obnoxious. Almost as obnoxious as the people who put 2 items up there.
