Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? The certifications aren't worth much imo, but some companies want to see them. aPHR is good for her level.
However, experience triumps any education if she wants to work in HR. Its a hard transition to go from Recruiting to broad HR because they're so different from each other but she should continue to apply for HR generalist roles.

She should start researching human resource focused data analytics—top MHR programs with solid placement focus heavily on this. Drawing conclusions about the workforce from likert survey data, visualizing and communicating findings, etc. (mostly Excel analysis)

If she was already an HR Assistant it shouldn’t be a stretch, she can apply to HR Coordinator or HR Generalist roles and highlight her previous experience.
