With all the talk of AI replacing jobs, or at least lots of tasks, why is it I’ve never heard of it replacing the one thing that it could easily replace, and could save tons of time and money: Annotating and fact-checking.

At this stage we’d likely still need editors for QC, but how can you not put a project in a platform that scans it against articles and other resources you want to base claims from and have the system make annotations and referencing?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
