With interviews mostly over the phone/Skype/zoom, is everyone still sending thank you emails? I’m working with a recruiter so I don’t always have the email contacts for the people on my interview.

Any useful advice on coping with feelings of failure? I have invested a lot of time in the past 5 years to specialise in my field (int'l arb), moved countries twice, invested more money than I currently have to requalify where I am now (UK), and still cannot get even a single interview for an associate position. I have been struggling financially for a while now (I am paid half of what a trainee earns in London), and have been feeling quite disappointed with myself. Should I give up? (Cont.)

I recieved a call from recruiter and she told me if you get selected and we are willing to wait for 2 months for your LWD. Will you sign an agreement stating that you will join us and not other companies?
Is it normal to ask? I dont wanna sign any such agreement which will prohibit me to look for better opportunities. How to counter her?

When you apply for any opportunity, how well versed should you be with all the things mentioned in a JD, like certification, experience, some tools and technology, coding language. Any program recommendations for building decks for clients? Indesign is obviously the best IMO, but I’ve found it difficult for clients who don’t have a design background and want to make changes in the future. I feel keynote is a nightmare...wondering if I’m alone in this sentiment lol.
