I don't know if I understand your question. Isn't that what an assistant does?
Doyou mean as a therapist?
Yes, as a therapist. Wondering what experiences others have...I find myself doing admin work and dont have time to accept new clients...only so much time in the day, but if there was an admin to help it may be easier but I am not the practice owner.
Yes I am looking at doing this type of practice next year. You’re in a “group private practice” arrangement where someone else handles rent, referrals, billing etc while you set your own schedule and client load. I don’t know yet how the pay would work…
Your pay is the rate you charge clients and/or are paid via insurance or other reimbursements. Then, you rent space/time from the practice or the group divides the costs however the contract reads. You pay taxes as a self employed contractor and write off all business expenses.
Same questions as above. Are you asking about providing therapy as a contractor in a group practice?
Yes, wkg as a 1099 contractor in PP. We dont have clerical staff to handle incoming potential clients, paperwork and insurance. I am not getting more than 10% of my caseload from the PP, I have to find my own clients. We have a biller, but they do not verify insurance. I was led to believe there would be referrals and clerical staff handling these tasks. Just wondering if others experiences are the same or I am expecting too much.
There are services available online that can do everything you are talking about. I use Grow Therapy for my individual PP. They provide a very easy notes system (EHR), credentialing, referrals, paperwork, billing (insurance and cash pay). There is a wide variety of services available from so many different services besides Grow Therapy. You can get any combination of services that you need.
Thanks. I am in a grp PP. It looks like I may have to branch out on my own and use a svs like that.
