I used to be a top performer before rona but have been so unmotivated for the last year of WFH and my performance is tanking because of it. I know some people love this life but I absolutely hate it; I chose audit because I enjoy being onsite at clients and thrive on the team camaraderie of audit rooms. WFH was okay at first, but the longer I'm stuck sitting at the same desk in my house alone all day the more meaningless everything feels to me. I don't know what the solution is, but I'm so tired

I've been working as a remotely full stack developer in Bangalore with CTC of 25Lac.
And now I'm sick and tired from WFH and wanted to work in product base company in Ahmedabad along with work from office.

So could you please suggest the product base companies which will provide good CTC like out of Gujarat?

Is it possible to get a remote job in the US but be based in Canada? Not sure of the legalities but the salaries here are much lower than those in the US...

Any advice on how to transition from patient care into a WFH position. I really desire to do something different. I’m an outside the box thinker. I problem solving, figuring out things. Hi all, I am currently on £30,000 base with one year experience. I do live outside london and WFH, but a firm approached me in london. After calculating commuting costs, it will add ~£5,000 net per year to commute into london to be in the office. Is it reasonable to ask for a base of £40,000 in london?

Design question for my work from home ladies - how did you decorate around a standing desk, large monitors, etc?

I find that with a large monitor there’s not so much I can put on the wall without having the monitor partially cover it - especially when the desk moves.

I don’t mind if the decor is covered when I’m using it standing, but want it to look nice when it’s lower down. Also find that with the monitor/laptop another square on the wall is too much of the same shape - any inspiration?

The GTM strategy at my company is not the best or strongest. Does anyone have any books, articles or suggestions on how to learn more about this topic? Marketing wise I feel like my team checks the boxes but every time we are getting for a launch it doesn’t hit the mark.

Sometimes it's hard to talk to my mom because she often brings up having kids, considering my sisters/cousins who are around my age are having kids. I want to wait at least a year or two, enjoy being married and having some time with my husband before kids and travel around a bit. Is 85K base salary a fair offer for an MS&T Process engineer at Moderna or Takeda in Massachusetts? I have 2 YOE in process development and need help evaluating an offer. Based on Glassdoor salary insights it seems some people are getting above 90K?

I am 7 years out in a transactional practice (real estate) and have an opportunity to move in house at a regionally respected company from a midsize firm. I have WFH flexibility at my current firm but bill about 1850-1900 per year. It would be about a 25% paycut. I have also been offered partnership starting in 2022 if I stay - not entirely clear what that long term structure looks like (would have to develop a partially independent book in next 3-5 years). Am I crazy if I leave?

I have received a job offer and gave them my expected salary to which the hr told it was above their budget. (Did a proper research and quoted them the range)

They gave me an offer with a difference of 1 to 1.5 lakh from what I had asked.

Any tips whether should I go with the offer they gave or still negotiate?
