Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?

She may not be aware how she’s coming off, and/or she may think you’re OK with it if you don’t tell her otherwise.
If there’s no acknowledgment or change in behavior after transparency is shared - then it’s replacement time. Talk to HR and start pipelining candidates. Plenty of people vying for these roles right now.
Your concerns are valid. And it seems like you have to undo some bad habits the old manager let fly for far too long. Because of that, in this CW’s mind, you’re the problem. You’re the micromanager.
After you try outlining your concerns to them, I would formalize their creative development process. I would have the PM add this CW’s creative review with you on the timeline. Put your feedback in writing for the PM to see. If they aren’t sharing work with you and addressing your feedback ahead of the IR, then you dont go into the IR. It’s a missed deadline on their part, and you treat that just how you would with any other missed deadline.
Email her and briefly outline your concerns.
See if that helps. Often when people see things in writing especially in regards to feedback- - they pay attention. Also it’s helpful when/if you’re asked for documentation.
It's Creatives like this that throw a wrench into getting the best work out into the world. Put them on a PIP to force some self awareness. Try to mentor and develop them during that time. If still no change after 3 months, exit them. There are plenty of amazing collaborative CWs available to take that spot on your team.
