Would a job in Salesforce (for the company) but in their Sales track, be a good move, see some remote positions, but they are all sales track. Wonder what the comp is like.

I feel like Salesforce is such a good company that it wouldn't be a bad move. They are a market leader and if you are successful in the role and can prove it, I can't imagine Accenture wouldn't let you come back if that's what you decide. Probably more about your current relationship with your Partner / Network.

And if one were to pursue that route, would you be able to go back to a consulting firm, or would that limit your ability to go back? Say for Salesforce Consulting.

I am a Chartered accountant and truth be told given the current times CA is a really low incentive education any potent person can get. Today I see engineers barely with a few years of experience earning lakhs per month. Whereas me despite being in the right place at the right time is working hard 10-11 hours each day even today. We as a forebearers of this profession must really rise together

How do people focus in the office? I'm a first year and I've been mostly wfh since I started and I'm super productive at home - my setup is comfortable, I rarely get interrupted, and I feel like I can stay really focused in my home office.

Our SAs started today, so the firm is making us come in more often. My office set up is so awkward, screens are too small, and I'm constantly getting interrupted. Not to mention the extra time it took to get ready and commute. How do people do this?

I got offered a position as a Wealth Management Banking Specialist and was offered $75,000 base pay with a 5% increase after a year. I am working on 8 years experience in the industry, investment licenses, and a bachelor’s degree in financial planning. I feel like this is low. Any thoughts?

Is your compensation and performance reviewed automatically on a regular/annual basis? I don’t get either of these unless I ask for it! Found out others in our company experienced the same as me. Lowball Salaries trending as a common pain point

I like my team and work life balance, during the pandemic was very beneficial to my wellbeing. However feel I owe it to myself now, to be earning what I’m worth in the market (I’m underpaid by a fair bit) especially with inflation costs

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
