Would doing a Graduate Certificate + CSCP certification be a good substitute for doing a full MS or MBA (without having to take GRE/GMAT)?

No one's looking for graduate certificates

like

I think GRE/GMAT requirement can be waived if sufficient work experience is shown.

like

yeah i did a graduate certificate, and it’s garbage no one cares. Only program id suggest is Penn State since their program transfers to their MS.

like

I did the CSCP. It was great for full understanding of SC but can’t say it has acted as a substitute of an MBA on my resume. Would say it’s more for personal growth

I’m a fifth year associate who is ready to get out of litigation (and private practice altogether). I’ve only ever done professional malpractice (legal, med mal, etc) and feel like those skills will not transfer as well if I had done transactional work. Ideally I would like to transition to something in-house. Any suggestions as to what jobs/industries I could transfer into with only litigation experience?

I’m about to give my notice at a firm I’ve been at for the majority of my legal career. They’ve recently offered me non-equity partnership (which I’ve accepted), w equity partnership on the horizon. However, I’ve been annoyed with their way of running the business and getting between me and my earnings far too long; and I received a lucrative offer to go in-house. I’m not looking forward to their reaction and feel bad about them having to take over my docket when everyone’s very busy. Any tips?

Anyone here choose between A&M, Alix, and some other usual suspect consulting companies? What made you pick A&M? Do employees generally tend to stick around? How is the culture, decent folks or sharp elbows everywhere? Is the total comp as good as advertised or is this false advertising? I have offers from A&M and Alix and Strat& and am trying to decide soon. Not just looking at comp, but looking to work hard at a place where I can learn a lot too and like the people around me.
