Hello fellow introverts! Instead of talking to people I have an Instagram account to shout my opinions about books into the void. Id love it if any of you would be willing to take a look and give me feedback on the reviews. I feel like they aren't quite at the level I'm aiming for.

Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.
Snowflake Inc.
Harman connected services vs CGI.

Unless you're planning to teach or your company is providing a tuition program, no.
Agree!
Masters in what? An MBA IS a master’s degree…
No. I have my masters and it hasn't helped with anything except getting me into more debt.
I worked under the same boss for 7 years and she was like oh, you have your masters?
Only do an MBA if you are looking for a specific change and the network of the school provides that. Most MBAs are not worth it. They aren’t about education but the opportunities from the alumni network. Not worth the debt unless it’s a top school in reality. Sad but true.
I got an MA in Comms from USC (Annenberg). It gave me more confidence in myself but no one cared. And my program is one of the top 5 in the nation. I would do an MBA. Not an MA. I think companies, especially tech, are more skill based vs education. Govt might be different. The only benefit I can think of is the network that you can build while there that can help down the road. But if you my kid... I would tell you that it isn't worth a student loan. If you can pay for it... maybe.
MBA! I am in comms and got my MBA (a working professional program) and it allowed me to transition into tech with significant salary growth.
No. Unless you want to work on marketing, client side. Then it’s almost a requirement. IMO you’d be better off doing an AI /Tech course.
Following because I debate the same thing in my head
I got my Masters in communication. It gave me a leg up in my current job but I would look into companies that will pay for your schooling.
I would say it’s worth it, as long as you know the program is good. If you do pursue it, network as much as you can with your classmates and professors.
If you are asking between a masters or MBA… MBA for sure. Though if you’re asking if either is actually worth it… that’s a separate question and really would depend on your goals ☺️ I have alternated between both wishing I had one and glad I didn’t invest the time and money at various points in my career. Having been more aligned to HR trends in my current work, we see higher education becoming less important to a candidate’s qualifications rather than more important.
Definitely an MBA. It will open you up to so many doors outside of comms.
