Hello all,
Would like to know specifically about Queer inclusion at SocGen Societe Generale. What is the attitude of mangers and HRs towards treating LGBTQ identifying candidates? Is company really inclusive or it’s just a lip service? Considering an offer with the company but being an out and proud Queer woman, super anxious and concerned.
Are you in a toxic environment?

Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure
A lot of us find concepting to music w/ little to no lyrics to be helpful. I’ve found myself needing a collection that opens up new thought areas. I put this playlist together for that purpose. 🙏 https://open.spotify.com/user/erice82/playlist/1CbAyrzrPPsOPcskfkPmK9?si=ABjPqGM8RRO7ZEDYYz88_A

It doesn’t sound like you’re saying anything negative about the company so I wouldn’t see it as burning bridges. If you want to keep the door open to working there in the future though they’ll know it’s something you’re not interested in so it may be harder to be hired back. You could just phrase it as wanting to try something more purely design based and get your point across without closing the door.
My biggest question for you though would be what is your intended outcome of this honesty? When you know what you want to come out of it, it’ll help you figure out the best way to communicate how you’re feeling.

There's no upside to honesty, and you don't know for sure where your career or circumstances will take you. Be normal, keep your options open and lie. There is no downside.
I love the people I work with and the place I work for, that I would never want to insult them. I just want to go back to just graphic design instead of advertising. I will miss everyone and if I could just design and still be here I would.
Unfortunately not, we slowly got rid of our designers here 😕
As you get older you’ll be more comfortable with knowing and accepting what you want and don’t want and what you like and don’t like. This is a big step towards that. You’ve learned something about yourself from working in advertising and are making a change, these are good things. Be strong. Good luck.
Could you stay at your agency as a designer? Maybe you could frame the conversation that way, unless you already have another job
