Would you feel comfortable asking a company you are interviewing with for their financials if they are a couple year old startup? I was reached out to be one of the first members of a tax team at a startup and it was brought to my attention by a colleague to ask for their financials to make sure it’s a sound company I’m joining, but I can’t tell if it would come off as offensive or tactical

If looking at the financials would help you in making your decision than I don't see any problem. Ya, depending on the team they may feel like it's too intrusive, especially if you're not one of their preferred candidates. Overall though if you frame it as an important part for you to understand what you're walking into (since you're the first team member) than just speak your points confidently and go for it.

Hi everyone. I’m a front end software engineer. I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. How would you approach asking the recruiter if there are any SWE openings I could be considered for instead ?

Hello Fishs,

I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.

Thoughts on TC for Walmart. Currently interviewing for a Supply Chain Manager role, 4.5+ YOE, Masters Degree, High COL

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

Can you use excel during the interviews to do calculations? Figured if it would be virtual it would be easier to do so.
