Would you pick a job that pays below what you want but hybrid which helps WLB? Or in person role that can be hectic but pays between the ranges of what you’re looking for ?

I have been offered an internship for Equity Research role for 2 months. Based on my performance, I'll be on boarded full time. However, they are not letting me know the salary range I can expect once the internship ends. How can I negotiate a salary as per my expectations?

I’ve been verbally offered a position at a new company, but the recruiter insists on getting a verbal acceptance before sending the offer in writing. This person insists on negotiating salary before sending the paperwork. Generic benefits, RSUs, bonus info have been provided; it’s all unofficial.

This is absurd. Am I missing some “new way” of doing things? Your take?
