Currently Platinum with AA, felt anal fisted by their new Platinum Pro class introduction, what's the best way to switch to Delta and accelerate status earning? (Other than status match)

PwC folks - I'm diamond status with delta and have to cancel/change a trip at the last minute (within 24 hours). Is it better to cancel it via PwC help or delta diamond reservations line?

Does Delta Platinum / Sky Priority get you access to Delta lounge as well?

I have flown this particular route ~15 times by Delta 1st class in last 6 months for my project. NOT a SINGLE TIME they have got me my baggage!! That's some efficiency right there!!!

Total newb question: for getting my meager delta gold last year, I thought I would get a few rollover MQMs. Do you really start from scratch each year?
