Anyone get sick with the delta variant? What were your symptoms?

Why is delta charging me 220$ for 3 checked bags? 🙈🙈 its just from dallas to nyc. For some reason its 70$ for 2 but 220$ for three. Is there a better option to send baggage separately?

I’m Delta Diamond and started out as number 1 on the upgrade priority list, but now I’m number 7. Who gets added above the Delta Diamonds?

What do people use for passing drug tests (weed). I smoke very 4-6x a week (for about 2 months nothing before that) and only take 1-3 hits when I smoke (light weight). I take edibles as well (delta 8).

Going back to office next month then forced to WFH again in the fall due to delta variant - is this a reasonably likely scenario?

Flying international for the first time in a while tomorrow. Delta will not let any of us check in online, saying “some international travelers need to check in at a kiosk”. Friend said two weeks ago flying American, it took 2 hours to check in at a kiosk. Have other people experienced this? Really dreading showing up to the airport at 330 am if I have to account for a full 2 hours (note: have lost all status the last two years but do have precheck still).

Have any firms or companies gone back to WFH with the delta variant? We are vaccinated but my husband is high risk, and delta is surging in my city. Getting nervous

Trying to figure out if they should get another vaccine here (they got two doses of Covaxin back home, but sounds like efficacy isn’t great vs. the delta variant - around 60%)

If you have been lucky enough to keep your Delta status through the pandemic remember that you can select your Choice Benefits once a year. This means…a 200 delta gift card or 20,000 miles. They don’t do a good job of letting you know so go check your account and look for “choice benefits.” I think it’s for Platinum and Diamond.

So I work out of NYC but moved home for COVID. Now the office is opening up and clients want us in, but I haven’t planned to come back yet. My fear is that this delta variant or other variants is going to push numbers back up, and I don’t want to come back and then be forced to work from home from an apartment. I would rather not pay rent and stay home for a while longer. Anyone else struggling with this?

If I buy a guest pass for a Delta Sky Club in one city, can my guest get into the lounge in the next city during our layover or do I have to pay again?

If I get a Delta AMEX card, do I have to have booked my ticket with that card in order to be able to leverage the benefits (e.g., no baggage fees, priority boarding, lounge access)?

I’ll be flying delta a ton but also have the chase sapphire reserve. CSR’s point earnings and redemption values are way higher than what delta gives with their AMEX cards. Am hoping to be able to book the ticket with CSR but still be able to leverage the Amex benefits, but not sure if possible.

AMEX Platinum Card Holders - With automatic Marriott Gold, does that mean you only need to stay the delta of 25 nights (50-25) to get Platinum status for the year? Or do you get Gold status but are still required to stay 50 nights to get Platinum?
