Have any firms or companies gone back to WFH with the delta variant? We are vaccinated but my husband is high risk, and delta is surging in my city. Getting nervous

I've got some friends who work remote jobs, and every day I grow more jealous of them during my one-hour commute.

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Should I stay in my role a bit longer to gain experience or I am not able to find remote or hybrid matching my profile. Your advice and comments are much appreciated.

Pre pandemic I was traveling 5 days a week and just used left over per diem on the one night I went out with friends at home. During covid I stayed home. Now that I’m fully vaccinated and are many of my friends they want to go out to eat/drink. During covid I moved from a LCOL to here so I’m experiencing delayed sticker shock at the prices. Any tips?

I just got a new credit card. It came with a Priority Pass membership. I always travel economy, I hardly ever get lounge access. I got excited, until I remembered I can’t travel and lounges are closed anyways. :(

(1/2) I started a new job less than a month ago at a large firm with a significant pay increase. I work remotely- which is a special arrangement. They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. A bunch of the attorneys dropped not so subtle hints that people who work from home are causing all kinds of problems. I don’t know what to do.

I'm in a litigation, about 9 months in. Is it normal that I spend majority of my time making bundles for my partners (printing, binding, moving docs in a different order whenever there are new documents or he wants to add stuff) reviewing documents and making tables (e.g. dates, which documents are from where), and the only legal work is like notices of admission, list of documents, the occasional research? I'm so bored and I want to quit but I don't know if I have unrealistic expectations.

Any tips for building a client base from scratch? I’m a 4th year associate at a firm of 12 attorneys. I practice in business, compliance, and real estate (primarily on partners’ files) and don’t litigate. Most of the partners’ clients are wealthy friends or friends of friends (not my circle). Associates are not referred business, even cold calls, and so far “networking” events like Chamber of Commerce luncheons have been a bust. We have motion sensor lights in my office and the sensor is far from my desk. Consequently, if I'm on a long WebEx, the lights go out and it's embarrassing. The building won't change the sensor.
