If I book a delta delta Ickes through chase travel I can still get miles right? I’m buying it not using points

Delta from LHR to ATL is delayed from 2:05pm to 6pm. Will they just give me €300/€600 (if it’s longer than 4 hrs) if I just ask for it, since it’s by EU law? Or do I have to go through hassles?

I live in DC client is in Charlotte. I’m delta loyal but the flights to Charlotte are absolutely terrible if you fly delta. I have to go to BWI and connect. American is direct flights.

No in-flight service on this 20 minute flight, but @delta is still serving snaccs. These pilots are delicious and can get into my cockpit whenever they want.
