I have an undergrad degree in economics and want to pursue biotech/pharma corporate development. Are there any classes / degrees /certifications you would recommend to help make up for the lack of a technical science background?

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. What makes strategy consulting different to management consulting?

Both seem to evaluate a problem and provide recommendations. Maybe there are some specific areas like due diligence etc which are more niche, but seems like a high degree of overlap between SC and MC?
