What happens if we stop/ discontinue H1B visa and move back to India? Can we re-enter with the same work authorization at a later point in life? Any implications on obtaining B1 visa?

Credit card application reject question- (I have 720+ credit score and never overborrow nor pay late, decent income)

I was trying to book a flight on Delta, the delta booking site said 400 sub if I applied cc so I did. But the transactions never went through, and as such I have filled that cc application 3+ times. (2 credit check triggered)

Then I gave up and try to book on AA, AA also have some cc benefit so I applied too. AA rejected me immediately.

I recently got an verbal offer from JP morgan chase where the HR called me after last round of interviews. She asked my expected compensation, although another HR had asked the same to me during the initial phase of recruitment.

Final HR said the compensation is above their budget for this role, but let me get back to you after discussing with the hiring manager. I performed well in all the interviews but not sure what’s gonna happen now? It’s been a week HR hasn’t come back.

Looking for a Delta rewards card and was going to go with Amex, but internationally Amex isn’t widely accepted and I already have the Gold. I’d like to replace my JetBlue Mastercard with a no foreign transaction fee Delta card (don’t mind a fee for the card). Is there a good Delta non-Amex option? Any EY folks here can share your PERM starting date? Is it flexible? Just heard back from Deloitte HR that the 1 year of service is a firm wide policy and non-negotiable. I read some threads here that Deloitte paused GC/perm during the pandemic in 2020 and some peoples visa got maxed out because of that. I’m concerned that next year if they lay off citizens then they are going to pause the perm again. So I wonder if EY has a more flexible policy. Thanks!

Finally admitting I’m bad at finances.

I took a new job, moved to a new city, and eyeballed a budget. What I didn’t realize was that the salary I accepted was just a little bit too tight for the HCOL city I live in. I accepted the job literally weeks before inflation smacked everyone in the face. Now, I’m 6k in credit card debt and freaking out there’s no end in sight. I’m worried that even with a raise, I’ll still spend more. I need help.
