Finally admitting I’m bad at finances.

I took a new job, moved to a new city, and eyeballed a budget. What I didn’t realize was that the salary I accepted was just a little bit too tight for the HCOL city I live in. I accepted the job literally weeks before inflation smacked everyone in the face. Now, I’m 6k in credit card debt and freaking out there’s no end in sight. I’m worried that even with a raise, I’ll still spend more. I need help.

Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher. Hey Guys, Currently I am having 16.12 lac pa in current organization and 5% Bonus So total comes around 16.93lac pa. Nagarro is asking me to rejoin at 20 lac pa (5% Project bonus included).

Not sure if this is the right bowl but hoping to get some insight. I have a lot of student debt, and am considering refinancing with First Republic bank to get a (marginally) lower interest rate. However, their version of refinancing student loans has changed in the last couple years so now they offer you a personal line of credit. Is it a bad idea to refinance with a line of credit vs a regular student loan refinancing?

Am I correct in my understanding that:

Over a certain income ($76k as of 2021), a single person CANNOT make tax-free contributions to a traditional IRA if you have a workplace retirement plan?

In my example, I have a work 401k, and my adjusted gross income is over (or just about hovering) at the 76k limit. This means I can't make pre-tax contributions to a traditional IRA, so I should just go for a Roth?

My company uses ADP for retirement. It has a contribution allocation for just 401k and roth 401k. If I wanted to contribute to a traditional IRA does it need to be through ADP and if so how is that done?
