Hey all.. need a suggestion. I am being transferred to our onshore office and signed a contract but the Visa has not yet arrived and not sure when it'll be processed. Citing this point, I was told I am not getting yearly hike year as the offer from onshore office includes the hike. Is this right? Coz the visa is still in process and it might take 2 or 3 months and till then I'll be getting old salary.EY

Received formal offer letter today from JPMorgan Chase. The recruiter assured me that I’m eligible for a full years bonus as I’m walking away from one at my current place of employment. However, he won’t commit to it in writing as he says bonuses are discretionary. Has anyone who started at JP Morgan at EOY had an issue with this? Did you receive a full years bonus?

A few years ago I found out that companies are required to release their job titles and salary when they sponsor someone for an American work visa. If your firm hires international people, salary data for that role is available.
There is a website called h1bgrader.com that has turned all that data into an interactive dashboard.
I think this data is far far more accurate than glass door or any other self-disclosure forum.
If you have unlimited patience you can lookup H1B data on Uscis.gov and analyze it yourself.
My wife has her joining date extended from Randstad and no joining date has been provided. What are the chances of her offer getting revoked. She has around 1 year of experience in HR. She got to know about this just on the last day of her notice period. She doesnt have any other offer as she didnt expect the joining date to get extended. Randstad. How is it working on the CIB team at JPMorgan Chase ? Good group to get into? Would be for an Associate Control Manager position. Dealing with commodities and the traders buying those commodities. Would basically be geared toward compliance/P&L. Seems interesting but if it’s a department you can’t go far in or I’ll be miserable everyday I’d rather know sooner rather than later lol
