Curious how other companies are position their 2023 December holiday calendar.

Christmas falls on a Monday next year. Is your company observing the Friday before (22nd) as eve? Or are they observing the 26th as day after?

I’ve been in my current position (Bookkeeper) for 4 years now. I’m highly interested in taking the PHR, and I’m wondering if I would qualify for the 4 year HR professional job requirement to be eligible to test for the certificate. I work for a small business, therefore I do all the on boarding paperwork/payroll. Any advice is appreciated.

I’ve been on the bench with less than 10% utilization for 3wks now. I’m a first year and the past month has been slower with not many new projects coming in. Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. Unfortunately was dragged into an audit despite the fact I don’t work in audit. Why does audit RM say yeah your hours will be 50 hours/week when you’ll have to work way more to do the audit. Seems very dumb - if you have work do it, if not don’t work…

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?
