Anyone here do HR for an organization with both union and non union employees? My organization is very small consisting of 8 union employees and 7 non union employees. We do not have an official handbook and I’ve been working with Paychex HR team to put one together. It’s a bit frustrating because I feel my rep doesn’t know too much about mixed environments. After working from home for the last 9 months, I do not want to ever go back into the office. I'd like to stay permanently remote. Advice for bringing this topic up with my manager? According to an article in LinkedIn new job postings are down for the first time in 9 months but still there over 10 million open jobs with only 5.9 million unemployed workers. Why is it that here I am unemployed over 4 months and still not one offer. Anyone got some positive vibes to send my way it would be appreciated! I’ve been in sales for over 20 years, b2c, b2b and account management as well as sales management. I’ve got great skills and enthusiasm to give to a great employer!

Does Big4 file H1Bs as premium?

New auditor here, I see most auditors get booked for 10- 12 hours on engagements during busy season. But heard everyone’s working 65 hours to 100 hours a week during that time. Does that mean almost everyone is eating their hours in big four and midsize firms ? If you’re assigned for 12 hours daily, Monday to Friday, but actually working 15 hours and weekends, do you book 12 hours Monday to Friday ? Or the actual hours you worked including weekends ?
