Does anyone know the starting salary for Jackson Lewis in the firm's Connecticut office, as well as the billable hours requirement?

Could anyone shed some light on the working environment at Arnold & Porter? I've been offered a role as a trainee lawyer but wanted to know if its a safe environment in the sense that I could ask for support if I ever needed it.

Hello, which is more beneficial Master’s in Human Resources or PHR Certification?

Is the marginal value of a second clerkship truly worth the opportunity cost? Is the first? Obviously SCOTUS is a different story, but what's wrong with doing one district or one appellate only?

Is finding a Generalist position for more than 50k but with me having less than 7 years of HR experience reasonable? Is a generalist position the best next step to get more experience? According to an article in LinkedIn new job postings are down for the first time in 9 months but still there over 10 million open jobs with only 5.9 million unemployed workers. Why is it that here I am unemployed over 4 months and still not one offer. Anyone got some positive vibes to send my way it would be appreciated! I’ve been in sales for over 20 years, b2c, b2b and account management as well as sales management. I’ve got great skills and enthusiasm to give to a great employer!

New/pivoting into HR! 👋 Currently working as a TA Coord with a little entry level work in HR Ops prior to this. Is there a SHRM link, reliable test, or method of shadowing the various parts of HR that will provide a sample of the work, thinking, and day to day experience of each group? I didn’t go to school for HR and therefore haven’t had the opportunity to sample HR Ops. vs. TA vs. Comp vs. Benefits vs. Payroll, etc. I know work experience is the best barometer, but what can supplement this?

Hi everyone, what metrics are used by a talent acquisition team to identify insights on their activities to be able to start conversations within the team or other interlinked departments.

More than just metrics like time to hire, cost of hire, demographics, I'd like to hear what data is collected and monitored or measured to get insights on talent acquisition activities.

As an intern, how do you deal with an associate that (1) is overly patronizing, (2) that consistently takes credit for your work in front of the partner and (3) that thinks their work is top priority?

For exhibits to motions/responses in federal court, do law clerks prefer (1) citations to doc numbers or (2) attach exhibits to motion, even if the docs have already been filed with the court.

I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?
