Thoughts on Daggerwing? Yes, no, maybe?
Anyone who has recently accepted a job at EY consulting I would greatly appreciate your insight. How would you describe work life balance in comparison to the company you left? Was the increase in pay/benefits worth the change in work life balance? I’m currently in a situation where I work close to 40 hours a week (remote), so I’m hesitant to accept a new role where I may work 50-60 hours a week for only 20k more pay. Also for reference I’m looking at transitioning into a senior consultant role.
Does PwC pay out PTO when you quit? Anyone with past experience know? How does this work?

MBB people in London (or other non-US financial hubs) - if you are aligned to the financial services industry, are you still on the road most of the time or are projects more local?
Obviously leaving for client side pays well, but sticking with agencies, how does one make a BUNCH of money in this industry? (Short of "get an MBA and become a CEO")
I joined this forum so excited about my new job at BCG which will start in September, but now I’m kind of bummed hearing all the negativity you can find in some posts here about consulting 🤣 so, serious question: is it really as bad as some say it is? Or working at an MBB for some time is actually a really good life/career choice?
Posting for a friend - I have a call with a MBB partner tomorrow. Was wondering how to make this a good experience for both of us and to hopefully have a mentor - I've always been in industry and know very little about consulting. This partner is in the sector as me. Any helpful tips?

At a crossroads for what to do … <3 YOE and have enough saved up for a down payment on a condo (live w parents now), but am also thinking of getting an MBA . Would love to do an MBA abroad and work internationally for a few years, but financially it would definitely be better to have a mortgage vs. lose 2 years of income .. plus it seems like MBA’s aren’t as valuable as before any thoughts ?
Interviewing with Optum healthcare consulting. Anyone have experience or anecdotes to give an inside perspective?
Suggestion for books for a relaxing vacation?
I was pulled into a meeting to essentially give my opinion on my supervisor’s performance. It sounds like they’re about to get fired. Do I give them a heads up? If it were me, I would want to know, but if it gets out I said something I don’t want it to burn any bridges with upper leadership...

Leaving 1 firm for another. If I have to give 30 days notice but have my bonus letter (with amount) and bonus pays in 20 days, am I safe to give notice now or do I have to wait for $$ in bank account?
Are there any CA family law firms looking to contract out work (legal research, drafting briefs, disclosures, forms, discovery, etc.)? I have over 6 years of experience and am well-versed in family code and case law. (My attorney is on family leave so we don't have the workload I'm used to right now, and my husband might be switching jobs with a pay cut, so it wouldn't hurt to earn some extra money.)
Can anyone provide insight into a Project Integrator role at CACI in the cleared space? It seems like it’s the equivalent of a Manager at Deloitte but would appreciate some insight. TIA
Just got feedback from my MBB interview. So close, asked to come back in 6 months to try again 🤕
How easy is it to move around within Amazon once you get in? I'm being recruited for a role at appropriate level but in a line of business that I don't care about at all. Could I prove myself for like a year then try to switch teams?
Probably just my soul looking for a way out …so fellow fishes a quick vote for me, how would you choose: Both LS/ healthcare 1) Global brand, 60+ hours, travel, $160k+ total comp 2) Boutique, good WLB (heard from multiple happy employees), no travel, $110k+ total comp

Making 80k as S1 in technology advisory in Chicago. If the raise is less than 5% this year due to our new review system, should I start to look for new opportunities?
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
Quoted $100-120K, 10% bonus, no RSU for Sales Strategy & Ops at Salesforce (4.5 YOE). Super lowball right? I was thinking 130K + RSU…

What do you do when your manager is micromanaging to the point that it actually has a negative impact on the work? They're not taking any fair feedback and discussion points from myself of the team, giving circular feedback for the sake of feeding back which is having a knock-on effect on timeli, and generally causing the work and morale to suffer.
BCG Houston vs McKinsey Houston summer associate offer... friend needs guidance making a decision... any insights (eg on office culture, warmth, work-life balance etc) would be much appreciated...
