Amazon, Berkshire, JPMorgan name Atul Gawande CEO of healthcare venture Any insiders know what is going on here?
I want in on this new Healthcare company being formed by Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JP Morgan. This industry needs serious disruption. Ways to network to get foot (even a toe) in that door?
🐠 in NJ - have you received your tax returns? I filed for the first time in February because I had a project there for a month and haven’t heard anything.
Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.

Hey all! We have a candidate we're considering for a management position. One of our partners found a news story about him from a few years ago that's negative, though not necessarily awful. It was a small-town-gossipy local news story about his solo business, but all the comments on it from locals said he's a great guy and very professional. Anyways, this partner would like me to question the candidate about this news story. I'm curious how anyone else would approach this? Any suggestions?
Analytics folks - could any of you recommend a classroom based training as primer in python / data science? Have a research and analytical background but not a quant and don’t code much.
Have a Delta credit card? Can you get in SkyClub? You have 2 free premium drinks per DAY waiting for you right now.
I have heard that McKinsey allows some BAs to move quickly to EM (although sounds like it’s fairly rare to be in 3 years?). When that does happen, do they manage post MBA associates, or just BAs?
Holiday bonuses? Just got notice of ours and it seems very skimpy... wondering if B4 or other companies give staff holiday bonuses?
Them: "WE ARE HIRING LIKE CRAZY!!! UwU :) ❤💕" Also them: "Followup on your recent application. I hope this message finds you well. We appreciate the time you put into your application. Unfortunately, we are unable to move forward with your candidacy."

Anyone have insight into culture at Guggenheim partners? Specifically on the total return bond team?
I’m a midlevel lateral but retooled so I feel like a 1st/2nd year (I have little to no experience in the new practice area). People assume I know how to do something but I have a million questions and I really do want to learn & do a good job. How do I remind partners/seniors that I need more training without hurting my reputation? I’m also afraid to delegate down because I don’t know how to explain things/I don’t know what I’m looking for
What is the exact date on which utilization tracking for FY2018 started? I know it's March sometime. When does it end?
Does anyone have a virtual happy hour activity that was actually fun, other than drinking some expensed booze.

Should you tell a recruiter that this opp is your first choice after you share you’re interviewing elsewhere?
New homeowners here, we are getting a new roof from insurance claim due to a recent storm. We received a check, but the roofer said that's not all and once he's done, he will send the insurance company a final invoice. Is that how it works?

Was just offered over a $100k pay bump and Creative Director title. The catch is, it’s at a pharma agency overseeing DTC & HCP work. Is going to healthcare as a CD career suicide like it was years ago? @
I am a 1-2 year lawyer in a large law firm (BigLaw non-US/UK) and feel like I am being under-utilised in my current team/firm. I think the team is too heavily staffed at the junior level which means I’m not getting enough experience for my level. It’s also saturated with competent mid level lawyers who seem to get all the good work before it trickles down. A position has opened at a competitor firm that I am considering applying for. Looking for peoples thoughts - is now the time to leave?

Who’s responsible for the holiday inn spot where the girl in the red dress sits down and talks to the bartender and they speak in unison? I cannot fucking stand it
First time interviewing as an experienced hire. When a recruiter asks salary expectations, do I counter and ask for a range? I don’t want to go high & get dinged but also don’t want to get shorted.
