Any new shops in Canada doing good work?

How do you deal with a Midlevel who tells the partner you’ll cover for them, but gives you less than 24 hours notice they’ll be gone without asking if you can cover? I helped out back on July on a deal with they were on vacation, and now every vacation since they keep adding me back on without keeping me appraised of the deal in the interim

Omnistudio - may you get built in to Salesforce core. Hate how I have to install a package every release, test it, and when there is a break fix that cycle repeats. This is on top of those freaking data that drives functionalities (omniscripts, flex, IP) are all records and tough to sync to non-full copy. Salesforce needs to kill that product or get those into the core! What’s your take on this? This is for friendly conversation

I interviewed at Infosys yesterday and it went well I am expecting positive feedback from HR. Does anybody know how much time they will take in reviewing after my interview i received a message from them that we are reviewing your profile.

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. The first one seemed like a good fit at first but then it turned out to not be the best place for me so I left. At my current agency I feel super undervalued. I’m always raising my hand and offering to help where I can and no matter what I do, I don’t feel utilized or valued or part of the team.It’s really taken a toll on my confidence

I wanted to reschedule my hiring manager screen this week because I tested positive for covid and feeling sick with symptoms. Recruiter seemed annoyed and said hiring manager is busy for the rest of the week so I kept the original time slot. Interview is in 2 hrs and I just don’t feel like doing it esp thinking if this is the work culture

Wondering if anyone can share the approximate timeline after applying to Target Corp. to hearing something from them. Applied 9/1 and on the applicant portal the status still says “in progress.” I got a great internal referral, but I’ve not reached out to the hiring manager. 😬 I know there were a few hundred applicants — what’s a realistic timeline and what could I say to the hiring manager if I reach out to them.
