Is 290k with 9 YOE considered median TC, per fishbowl standard?

Hi. I was made redundant from Zendesk in August and looking for my next role. Im looking for a Senior Recruiter or Lead Recruiter role in Dublin Ireland. The market seems difficult for inhouse roles. Anyone looking for someone with my skillset?

Hey friends. Recently joined a startup with a heavy reliance on outbound sales strategy. Without a phone number... what are some of your best ways to get meetings booked with prospects?

Our product sells itself, but how do you set yourself apart to get the initial meeting booked?
What mediums do you use with cold outreach that you find most effective?
What copy have you found gets the best ppen/reply rate?

I am not a sales PRO, but I'm also not a newbie. Really just looking for a think-tank.

Would you move to industry with similar pay but higher title? Specifically, a Silicon Valley stable startup, pre IPO and a growing product?

My biggest concern is upwards mobility.

What would you personally look for in this scenario?

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

How easy is it to switch roles once you are in a company? Say I join pharma in Strategy and I eventually want to move to Supply chain. Is that realistic? Is that feasible?

Those of you that interviewed at aws sales, did your interviewers go through specific bullet points on your resume?
I understand its lp focused, im just curious if ppl used examples outside of their resume for majority of their stories.

Why does consulting attract so many socially awkward people?

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). First 2.5 years were spent building my clients software, most recent year has been as a project manager for them. A lot of what I’ve done in last year overlaps ProdM responsibilities but I recognize it is a change. Am I reaching too much for a PM role? What are other roles I should consider to try to position myself to break into PM? Thank you for your help 🙏🏼

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. So my query is will they call me for next round?I really wanna get selected since Deloitte is mydream company

For people with Non-technical backgrounds who are now Product managers in the Tech industry, what kind of resources did you use to prep for your interviews? I've had people recommend brushing up on cracking the PM code but there's SO MUCH information out there and it's hard to figure out if I'm looking at the right thing or not. Please share resources that helped you get into PM roles (bonus points if you work at companies like Amazon and Google).

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I would appreciate any input!!!!
