Asking for a friend: Coming out of top-10 MBA, and debating between 2 offers post MBA - Deloitte S&A or ZS. Comp: same base, but ZS offers COLA bump and 2nd year tuition reimbursement. Big comp difference in the short term, but I'm not sure if I want to commit to the life sciences route.
Will working in ZS commit me and limit exit opportunities long term? will broader scope S&A offer better exits?

So started at a mid tier firm a few months ago. I like the overall company itself but I’ve been having trouble grasping how to actually complete the returns I’ve been assigned. If I reach out to my buddy or a senior associate which their aren’t that many due to being understaffed, they don’t seem to be much help. They either say they’ve never worked on this return before or just have no clue. I came from a much smaller firm and joined this one to gain experience and knowledge. What should I do?

What should be the right CTC for my experience and technology ????

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?
