Any insight into Salesforce Account Manager: Enterprise? Is this different than an enterprise AE? Insight into comp range?

Every company wants good employees until the employees challenge you to become better management!
Currently helping to sell in a “break up” idea (it’s time to break up with your old [product/service] and to see what else is out there) for what feels like the 5th or 6th time in my career.
It’s not a bad idea, just feels very overused.
What are the most overused idea structures you’ve seen in your career?
What level does one have to be at your agency to start dealing with the business management side of things? Eg. FTE, scope, etc.
Has anyone transitioned from direct sales to indirect (channel, solutions consulting, etc.)? I’m an Enterprise AM currently (6+ years of total closing experience in SaaS) but looking to make a change sometime in the next 18-24 months. Certainly expecting to sacrifice financial upside but growing tired of the grind.

Wonder if there is a correlation between the people who want to wear leggings and flip flops to work and the people who smoke up in the morning or the people who don't shower in the morning? 🤔
How would you feel and what would you do upon finding out your direct reports (whom you also manage on projects) have the same compensation as you?

Ladies, do you tip when you go for a wax?
Non-American here so I was quite taken by surprise when I went for one today.
Wax was $69 without tip and was out in 20 min.
At the reception they had a sign with “recommended” tips 18%-22% and was asked how much tip I wanted to leave before paying with card.
$14 tip for literally doing your job and 20 min work seems a little excessive… Is that normal here?
