Senior 3 taking 2 parts of his CPA right before promotion. Not sure I’m going to be able to pass both parts. Aside from the bonus, would my salary remain the same from S3 to S4?

Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.
Ladies & Gentlemen, with one month left in Q2, some will fall short of our numbers. Others will hit them. I can’t speak for all of us here, however, I can speak for myself. That being said, I will NOT be one that comes up short of my number. Now, this leads me to you all, to present a question. If you have to prospect, if you’re looking for new business, is it worth $1500 to put 95% of your prospecting process on autopilot? If so, let’s chat.
Just saw someone from Big 4 mentioned CPA Bonus. Someone please let me know what it is? thanks.
What industries is the CFE certification used for? How does it compare to CPA in the length of the material and difficulty? Do most firms pay for It?
Delayed a work paper 3 days before filing. Client is not happy about doing more work 40% my fault, 60% their fault. Will I get fired?

Can anyone in internal audit give me an idea of what it’s like? Hours, travel, day-to-day activities, pros/cons, etc.
Looking for a new office chair at home. Any suggestions? Two key qualities: comfortable and adjustable Price is very flexible. Much rather pay more for a nicer chair than get a deal. Thanks!
To managers, what type of leadership training did you receive as staff that actually prepared you?
And the Oscar goes to ... Miss Colombia 😂
Straight up told the partner I work under that I’m unhappy and other firms/clients are after me. All he said was I’m on the fast track to partner and that the firm offers a lot of flexibility in that I can work my 65-70 hours over 5, 6 or 7 days a week. Apparently that and good morale/family environment offsets the fact that I’m underpaid by about 20%. Any advice on how to proceed?
Hi Everyone! I’m torn between which HR certification to pursue (SHRM-SCP or SPHR). Which one would you recommend and why?
I once had a co-senior who was proud that she graduated magna cum laude in undergrad (I didn't bother asking what school). Yet she did not know how to do the test of reasonableness of payroll expense.
I’m looking for a screening tool that will assess a candidate’s proficiency with MS-Teams. Would anyone know if there is such a thing that exists?
Trying to understand if a top MBA is right for me. 2 yrs A at D, going into 1 yr at Apple. Very happy with my comp, and personally I don’t see a barriers to go up the corporate ladder. The big interest for MBA is to finally go to a target school and “go to school for the first time”. To meet the likeminded cohort who will all do something cool eventually and build my network with that demographic.
Planning on exiting BCG for B4. Is this a wise move? Better TC, better WLB but less interesting work. Advice appreciated.
Good one McKinsey... You too funny! This probably up there with the climate change pledges that MBB firms have too, right? 🙄
Currently working at AM100 firm as a 7th yr litigation associate. The goal is to go in-house but haven't had a lot of luck getting past the first or second round of interviews. I have an offer for an in-house contract position (12-18 months) working on a project that's heavily regulatory and would require a lot of work drafting policies and procedures. Any thoughts on whether a contract position might be worth taking to get the experience I need for a real in-house job?
Does anyone else have parents that bug them all the time about what they are doing with their lives...literally 2 years into big 4 and my dads asking how to make partner 😒
Started a new job this week (from junior to experienced/mid) and I feel like a fucking idiot. Like I don't know what I am doing and that I made a mistake leaving my last job. Just needed to vent😔😪
If my GPA is on the lower end for MBA programs, is it better for me to take the GRE or GMAT? I was thinking about dual degree programs and my GRE scores have been awesome but should I just take GMAT to make up for my gpa?
Is there a way to waive the point forfieted fees of $35 for Amex when the balance is not paid in full. Despite the fact that I alway submit my T&E religiously I still get point forfieted. :/
Can two different recruiters submit you to the same place if they’re submitting 4-5 months apart? I’m not using both concurrently. Recruiter 1 submitted me to places in the beginning of the year and only one interview came out of it. Recruiter 2 wants to submit me to some places now. I’m wondering if there’s going to be any conflict/look bad etc if there’s an overlap.
Anyone who has worked in corporate development in a Fortune 500 company willing to connect? Looking to learn more about the experience, comp structure, progressions, etc.
Anyone looking for experienced case partners? My go-to’s have given up (radio silence for pipeline). Interviewed with MBB in undergrad & trying again as a lateral, want to stay fresh. Please DM me if interested & have least 20 cases under belt - thanks & good luck everyone!
First time founder - would you recommend square, stripe or something else for purchases between $150-$10k or what alternatively?
Honest question for my desi 🐠. How many of you have a really good relationship with your MIL (specifically the women with their MIL). I am wondering if my wife and mother have a problem that is common to many or are they a minority.
Anyone at PWC in FDD? I applied but no connections.. wondering if anyone wants a referral.
Every time I interview with FAANG or MBB I’m just reminded how dumb I am and why these companies pay so much to people who pass the bar! PS: Should I quit at rejection 5 or go for 10
Hi everyone! I am a mid-level freelance graphic designer, 26y/o who has been working independently for the past 3 years. I’m interested in leveling up, either to a senior design role or art director role at a design agency and looking for feedback on my current website before reaching out to studios. Appreciate any suggestions or thoughts. THANK YOU
