I was a graphic designer at an agency almost 2 years making 48k when I left. My current position isn’t management level, but I’m on a management team.

Would you:

Go for a perm position for a large manufacturing company recruiting assemblers and Machinsts in aerospace. 70k

Or

Temporary contract with the government recruiting for various low skilled work with higher than average wages. Min 82k with possibility of extension

Other than me being sick of my job and wanting more money, what are some other good reasons I can tell a recruiter why I'm looking for a lateral position change?

They told me to focus on contract management, which I have been doing for the past year. I’ve been at my (smaller) agency almost 5yrs and got one raise (a nice $12k bump) during that time—is that sufficient? Is one increase in that span normal? I also recognize being somewhere 5 years is rare these days. The honeymoon period at any agency seems to be 2.5—3yrs before bolting. Not complaining, just asking.
