PwC India Hi folks,
I graduated with Master studies in business at Singapore, and recently moved to India. I am currently looking for a consultant role in strategy functions at big4 in India. Here in India, most of the roles in MC & strategy advisory fills through referrals and campus recruitment, and not posting on the websites. I’d like to connect with people at big4 strategy functions for referrals and to know more about the firms operations
Thanks!

Great news! From an income perspective you’re ahead of 97% of American 32 year olds and 95% of Americans in general.

Not sure what your goal is, or who the people you’re comparing yourself to are - but you are still crushing it compared to the rest of the world…

You’re doing fine, and you learned a valuable lesson.
Long term stock index investing has never failed.
If you commit to it for life, you will have huge success.
What was the loss?
Also, 34F here- you’re not behind. Hang in there
Multiple break-ins, a tornado, contractor exits, roof failure, mold. Just to name a few.

Condolences. Managing property is risky and can be a real pain. I am glad that it feels like it was a lesson rather than just a disaster. :)
Compare yourself to your goals, not others. :)
How much do you save and spend each year? When do you want to retire? How much would you spend in retirement? Are there other big financial goals?
You make $220k, you’re not behind your peers.
Do you plan to have kids? That’ll change everything.
With your income, you are fine. Save aggressively and avoid lifestyle creep.
Interested to know more about your loss in Real Estate and lessons you learned. Thanks
Thanks for providing the context. I’m curious to know where the property is located. Is this in Florida?
